Read What People Are Saying About the bibbitec® Bib and Kids Art Smock

You know, as business owners and parents, my husband Steve and I put our hearts and souls into our company, bibbitec, where we strive to create innovative products that make parents’ lives easier.

After all, the ideas and designs for bibbitec and our baby bibs and kids art smocks came from our own experience as parents of 2 young boys. You can read more about that here: http://www.bibbitec.com/about

It’s incredibly exciting and gratifying to receive so many testimonials from parents who are literally raving about our unique kids art smock, as well as our innovative baby bibs.

How the Right Bibs Make Mealtimes Easier for Special Needs Families

For many of us parents with babies, toddlers and young children, mealtimes can either be wonderful fun parts of the day…or times that are particularly challenging and really stressful.

Some of our kids love everything we feed them and can’t wait to get in their highchairs or sit at the table. Some can also be picky eaters, refuse good healthy food, and get fussy and cranky…making giant messes of themselves, their clothes, trays, us, the floor and anything else within striking distance.

Managing Your Child’s Drooling Phase

Drooling is a normal stage in every baby’s development, and is most often associated with teething. Although many parents find this time to be really messy, you should know that excessive saliva production is actually healthy. For one, saliva washes away accumulated food and bacteria in your baby’s mouth. The enzymes found in saliva also break down carbohydrates, which helps in making the digestive system function optimally.

That’s not all—for infants that may suffer from gastroesophageal reflux disease (a condition in which stomach acid rises from the stomach into the esophagus), saliva serves to lubricate the esophagus lining and neutralize the acidity.

What to Look for in a Kids Art Smock

Children’s art smocks come in so many shapes, sizes, and materials that it can be difficult to choose between them. To make coming to a decision easier, you can narrow down your choices using the following considerations:
Style
Art smocks have three basic styles: apron, full protection, and bib. When working with younger children, it’s best to go with bib smocks that are applied over the head and offer protection around the sides. Older children can work with an apron-style smock, however, it’s usually best to go with a full-protection smock that runs from the shoulders down to the knees. Sleeves are generally not needed, unless your child regularly dresses in long-sleeved clothes.
