After all, the ideas and designs for bibbitec and our baby bibs and kids art smocks came from our own experience as parents of 2 young boys. You can read more about that here: http://www.bibbitec.com/about
It’s incredibly exciting and gratifying to receive so many testimonials from parents who are literally raving about our unique kids art smock, as well as our innovative baby bibs.

How the Right Bibs Make Mealtimes Easier for Special Needs Families
For many of us parents with babies, toddlers and young children, mealtimes can either be wonderful fun parts of the day…or times that are particularly challenging and really stressful.
Some of our kids love everything we feed them and can’t wait to get in their highchairs or sit at the table. Some can also be picky eaters, refuse good healthy food, and get fussy and cranky…making giant messes of themselves, their clothes, trays, us, the floor and anything else within striking distance.

Managing Your Child’s Drooling Phase
Drooling
is a normal stage in every baby’s development, and is most often
associated with teething. Although many parents find this time to be
really messy, you should know that excessive saliva production is
actually healthy. For one, saliva washes away accumulated food and
bacteria in your baby’s mouth. The enzymes found in saliva also
break down carbohydrates, which helps in making the digestive system
function optimally.
That’s
not all—for infants that may suffer from gastroesophageal reflux
disease (a condition in which stomach acid rises from the stomach
into the esophagus), saliva serves to lubricate the esophagus lining
and neutralize the acidity.
What to Look for in a Kids Art Smock
Children’s art smocks
come in so many shapes, sizes, and materials that it can be difficult
to choose between them. To make coming to a decision easier, you can
narrow down your choices using the following considerations:
Style
Art smocks have three
basic styles: apron, full protection, and bib. When working with
younger children, it’s best to go with bib smocks that are applied
over the head and offer protection around the sides. Older children
can work with an apron-style smock, however, it’s usually best to
go with a full-protection smock that runs from the shoulders down to
the knees. Sleeves are generally not needed, unless your child
regularly dresses in long-sleeved clothes.

Guide to Feeding Your Baby With Less Mess
Let's face it. Our
babies are messy eaters. We know because we experience it virtually
every day during meal times. So it's little wonder we're always
looking for ways to make eating time less messy, and cleaning up a
lot easier.
To make eating more fun
and less messy, we recommend using a
good baby bib, particularly one designed not to stain easily.
Polyester and nylon are among some of the most widely-used
stain-resistant materials in the market, but individually, they
suffer from drawbacks. Nylon has the resilience but not resistance to
stain; polyester doesn’t stain easily but is not very durable.

Bibbitec’s Trusted Baby Bibs and Kids’ Smocks Are 100% Made in America
As a maker of baby bibs and kids’ smocks that moms and dads put their trust in, this is a subject that is near and dear to our hearts.
In a national survey published just last year by Consumer Reports magazine, 78 percent of Americans said they would prefer to buy a U.S. made product when given a choice between one made here and an identical one made overseas.
More than 8 out of 10 of those individuals mentioned maintaining jobs in manufacturing and helping to keep American production strong and competitive globally as key reasons for purchasing American. About 60 percent said they believed that American-made goods were of higher quality, or pointed out concern regarding using child laborers or various other low-cost labor overseas.

License to Paint: Fun Paint Art to do with Kids
There's no better time
to introduce someone to art than during their childhood. Exposing
young ones to the beauty of art early allows them to explore and
develop talent, which could eventually turn out to be a fulfilling
career path. In case you’re thinking of getting your child an
artist’s start-up kit, make sure to pick up the following items
from the store: paper, paint and a smock. Ideally, the child should
also have enough space for him to do his drawing or painting
sessions, with the materials arranged neatly.

How The Right Bib Can Make Your Life Easier
Caring
for a baby, especially if it is your first, entails a lot patience,
perseverance, and understanding. Your baby completely relies on you
for everything...and you often find yourself trying to guess what
they want or need when they're fussy or crying. And when they become
toddlers, things get even a little more challenging as the kids are
more mobile. They also can get demonstrative and messy at mealtime
often getting as much food on themselves as they do in their mouths.
This is when the
right bibs can make all the difference in the world.

Some Tips for Stress-Free Fun Time with Kids
Ideally, fun with the
toddlers at home should take away the stress of life’s other
demands. In reality, fun with kids can also be stressful. However,
there’s one way to at least minimize the stress caused by playtime.
If one thing works for kids, it’s being creative. Creativity helps
children to develop their minds, to express themselves, and to learn
social skills. Parents can empower that creativity in kids by trying
out some tips.
How to Take Care of Baby Bibs
When
it comes to baby clothes, parents have to be meticulous about
everything that they let their child wear. Among the things that
often gets messy is the baby's bib. Most of the time, babies wear
this bib around their neck to catch the excess food and milk from
their little mouths or their baby drools or baby saliva. Whatever the
case, baby bibs are one piece of clothing that little babies must not
do without. Here are a few tips to ensure that the bib and your
little tot stays healthy, clean and protected.
